Two recognition for BiPSU in a row!
After being rated as a 3-star university by the QS Stars Rating System last Monday, BiPSU has been recognized by the Provincial Government of Biliran as one of the Most Outstanding National Government Agencies during the Governor Rogelio J. Espina Galing Mo Awards held at the BiPSU Gymnasium last night, June 29.
The university was conferred with the award for its "invaluable service to the community, promoting the image of the Biliranon workers as competent, responsible, and dignified workers with outstanding merit and performance."
The award-giving activity initiated by Governor Rogelio J. Espina aims to recognize and pay tribute to Biliranons who excel in the different fields of service.
"Each and every winner portrays a Biliranon that proudly shows to the world that we are competent, that we are knowledgeable, that we have dignity, and above all, we serve for the welfare of our fellow Biliranons", Governor Espina said in his congratulatory message.
Meanwhile, Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr., university president, said that the recognition awarded to BiPSU is another manifestation of the university's continued weaving of worthiness for the institution and the province.
"I am humbled that our provincial government recognizes our programs and initiatives, just as other local, national and international agencies and organizations," Dr. Cañezo added.
The university president also shares the recognition to the personnel, students and other stakeholders, and commits to work even harder in serving the institution's purpose
"Rest assured that we will continue our commitment in partnering with the provincial and local government towards human empowerment and societal development," he said.
