    The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of mathematics, science, and engineering principles, enabling them to solve complex engineering problems and design systems, components, or processes that meet desired needs while considering various constraints such as economic, environmental, social, and ethical factors. Students conduct appropriate experiments, analyze data, and apply modern tools and techniques essential for electrical engineering practice. The program emphasizes the development of effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environments. It fosters a strong sense of ethical responsibility and encourages lifelong learning to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.     The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering is an undergraduate engineering program designed to apply core scientific principles along with computational and mathematical methodologies. This program addresses critical issues related to technological advancement and sustainability in our modern world. BSCpE graduates typically work on developing and optimizing computer systems, software engineering, embedded systems, computer networks, cybersecurity, digital systems design, and artificial intelligence. Computer Engineering is a discipline that provides innovative solutions to the technical challenges and needs of a digitally driven society.

Engr. VIVENCIO A. PELESCO, MSci

Dean, School of Engineering

Engr. Vivencio Aralan Pelesco is a highly accomplished academic and engineer currently serving as the Dean of the School of Engineering at Biliran Province State University (BiPSU). With completed academic requirements for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of San Carlos and a Master's degree from MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, Dr. Pelesco brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.


Throughout his career, Engr. Pelesco has demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and leadership. He has received numerous awards for his research, including recognition for his work on organic fertilizer production, solar still-hydroponics systems, and agricultural technology advancements. His publications span a wide range of topics in engineering and agriculture, showcasing his interdisciplinary approach to research. 


Engr. Pelesco's commitment to academic service is evident in his roles as a consultant, evaluator, and resource person for various research and development initiatives. He has also contributed significantly to the university's administration, serving on important committees such as the Bids and Awards Committee and the Technical Working Group for Land Use Development and Infrastructure Planning. 


His expertise extends beyond the academic realm, as he is also an accredited consultant for the DOST Manufacturing Productivity Extension Program, demonstrating his ability to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical industry applications. 


Dr. Pelesco's diverse skill set, which includes proficiency in various software tools and good communication skills, further enhances his ability to lead and innovate in the field of engineering education and research.
