A total of 225 faculty members across all schools and departments of both campuses of the Biliran Province State University have received ergonomic chairs during the distribution held yesterday at the Main and Biliran Campus gymnasiums, respectively.

Along with distribution of the chairs, other newly hired faculty members, were also given laptops to be used for instruction.

Initiated by the Faculty Regent Vennie G. Coton and Dr. Victor C. Canezo, Jr., University President, the said provision was aimed at ensuring faculty welfare and support for the teaching force of the institution.

In his message, Dr. Canezo also emphasized that it was a “promise” and commitment fulfilled by his administration for the teaching personnel of the university.

"The distribution of ergonomic chairs and laptops for our faculty members is also a manifestation of how this administration take care of its employees particularly the teaching personnel,” he said.

Last September 2022, the university has also distributed laptops for all the regular faculty members of the institution.
