With a commendable rating of 5.92 of 6, Biliran Province State University successfully hurdled the Flexible Learning Implementation Remote Monitoring of the Commission on Higher Education- Regional Office VIII, yesterday.

Based on the result of the evaluation, the university gained perfect scores (6-fully developed) in the 13 of 14 areas assessed in the monitoring.

CHEDRO VIII Monitoring Team comprised of Education Supervisors namely Ms. Jane Arguelles- Latorre, Dr. Leo D. Camposano, and Mr. Cydric B. Suyom facilitated the remote monitoring, attended by university key personnel.

The said monitoring was conducted pursuant to CHEDRO VIII Memo No. 26, series of 2022 to assess the flexible learning implementation of the institution and evaluate its compliance to CHED Memorandum Order No. 4, series of 2020, vis a vis the 14 areas of assessment namely technology, content/learning materials, evaluation/ assessment, library/multimedia center, guidance and counselling, student support, enrolment and registry, assessment and grades, payments system, technical support for faculty, trainings/workshops provided, gadgets/equipment provided, payment system and academic and non-academic support.

In his response message, Dr. Canezo expressed his gratitude to CHEDRO VIII for journeying with BiPSU and to all the key officials of the institution, faculty and administrative staff in weaving worthiness for its stakeholders even amid the pandemic.

"The successful implementation of our flexible learning modality will never be a WoW for BiPSU without the proactive efforts of our officials, teaching and non-teaching personnel and the support of the Commission on Higher Education and the BiPSU Governing Board and of course our students" Dr. Canezo said.
