BiPSU conducts 3-day Strategy, Operations, and Performance Calibration Workshop

In the commitment to advancing the university in the field of instruction, research, extension, and production, Biliran Province State University, through its Institutional Planning Office (IPO), held a Strategy, Operations, and Performance Calibration Workshop last October 3-5 at the Hotel Estrella, Tacloban City. Dubbed "Raise a Glass for BiPSU: A Toast to Success," the three-day workshop convened university officials, including the president, vice presidents, and office directors.

The workshop was aimed at reviewing the performance targets by building on the data from the 3rd Quarter of FY 2022, determining the course of action in response to identified opportunities for improvement, and aligning the university's Approaches, Deployment, Learning, and Integration (ADLI) to the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Government Criteria for Performance Excellence.

During the workshop, University President Dr. Victor C. Canezo Jr. mentioned the significance of Victor's formula of success in realizing the university's achievements: "through our Character, Competence, and Connectivity over Significance, Success will be achieved."

Ms. Ma. Christina Aquino, PQA Senior Assessor and Planning Consultant, was the resource person and facilitator of the workshop.

Moreover, various activities transpired during the workshop, including a technical meeting with the president, fellowship night, recalibration lecture, survey deployment and discussion of results, recalibration of strategic and operational plans by weave, presentation of weave champions, review of operation plans, and accomplishment report workshop.

Furthermore, the said activity was in line with the ongoing recalibration of the university's performance targets, measures, and strategies following the WoW BIPSU Development Plan FY 2019-2023.
