BiPSU goes to South Asia
Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) continues to advance its internationalization initiatives with a recent delegation comprising faculty and students participating in a Cross-Cultural Immersion Program at Assam Down Town University (AdtU) in India from April 21 to May 3.
The faculty delegation includes Engr. Vivencio Pelesco, School of Engineering (SOE) Dean; Dr. Jovy Dia Saniel, School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS) Dean; Dr. Maribel Zipagan, School of Teacher Education (STED) Dean; and Ms. Laarni Velez, School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME) Instructor. Joining them are students representing various departments: Jay Lawrence Pentado and Thessa Belle Delfin from STED, Kate Abigail Baco from SOE, and Doviree Andrew Palero from SNHS.
BiPSU delegates were welcomed by AdtU key officials on April 22, led by the Director of International Affairs, Prof. Mrinmoy Basak, who provided them with an overview of the scheduled activities. Also in attendance were Associate Directors, Dr. Dapkupar Wankhar and Mr. Satyabrat Sarma.
Throughout the 15-day Cross-Cultural Immersion Program, the delegation will engage in various activities aimed at enhancing their cultural understanding, academic exchange, and learning experiences.
This initiative, headed by BiPSU President, Dr. Victor C. Cańezo, Jr. and Director for Internationalization, Atty. Dick Guiller Delfin, provides better opportunities both for students and faculty for global engagement and experiential learning.
