Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (BSAB) of the Biliran Province State University-Biliran Campus has been awarded a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) issued in Tacloban City last April 25.
With BS Agribusiness Chairperson, Jeruel Espinazo, and Dean of Agribusiness and Forest Resource Management, Dr. Randy Villarin, at the helm, the program has successfully complied with all the minimum requirements set by CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) no. 24 series 2007 on the Policies and Standards for Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness programs.
The COPC was awarded to university President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo Jr. by CHED Regional Office VIII Director Maximo C. Ajibe during the BiPSU board meeting.
BiPSU Biliran Campus' School of Agribusiness and Forest Resource Management now has COPCs for both its offerings in Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and Bachelor of Science in Forestry.
Furthermore, Dr. Carlito C. Cabas Jr., Director of Quality and Accreditation, also said that all programs of the University offered in both the main and Biliran campuses were submitted to the CHED Region 8 Office for a Certificate of Program Compliance.
The achievement is part of the university's 5-year development plan dubbed #WoWBiPSU, which highlights BiPSU's commitment in the delivery of quality education through submitting its programs to various accrediting bodies such as COPC, DNV, and AACCUP.
