Biliran Province State University's face-to-face entrance examination for aspiring college and high school students for the Academic Year 2022-2023 officially began on May 18.
The Admission and Retention Office (ARO) successfully administered the exam to 127 undergraduate level applicants at the BiPSU Student Center.
More examinees are expected in the subsequent sessions slated on the following schedule:
May 20, 25, 27, June 1 – College/Undergraduate Applicants (Main/Naval Campus)
June 3, 8 – College/Undergraduate Applicants (Biliran Campus)
June 10, 15 – Grade 7 Junior High School Applicants
According to the Admission and Retention Office, conducting admission examinations is a yearly institutional activity and is part of the screening and placement of BiPSU’s incoming students.
"This is to ensure that students are directed to programs that are a good fit for their abilities or potential. It also supports some of the University's #WoWBiPSU Strategic Plan goals, such as a high program retention rate, completion rate, and licensure examination passing rate."
The ARO ensured that the integrity of the exam results was preserved since examinees were closely monitored.
Moreover, ARO will add more examination schedules to accommodate the large number of applicants who have not yet scheduled for the examination. Visit the Admission and Retention Office's official Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/BiPSU_AdmissionandRetention ) for more information.
