BiPSU breaks ground for 2024 infra projects, inaugurates Hyflex and Audio-Visual Center

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), led by University President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr., held a groundbreaking ceremony today, February 29, for its 2024 infrastructure projects. The projects include the following:

The ceremony was attended by notable guests including Hon. Gerardo ‘Gerryboy’ J. Espina, Jr., Congressman of the Lone District of Biliran; Hon. Roselyn Espina-Paras, Board Member of the 1st District of Biliran; Engr. Erwin Antonio, District Engineer of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH); members of the BiPSU Board of Regents (BOR); university key officials; faculty and staff; students; and other stakeholders.

In his speech, President Cañezo shared thanks and appreciation to Hon. Gerardo ‘Gerryboy’ J. Espina, Jr, and Congress for helping in lobbying and being instrumental in the CICAs (Congress-Introduced Changes/Adjustments) under the GAA 2024 worth 120,000,000.00 & overall funding for BiPSU.

BiPSU also inaugurated and blessed the newly constructed BiPSU Hyflex and Audio-Visual Center (BiPSU HAVC) on the same day. Located within the Andaya Building, the BiPSU HAVC aims to enhance the university's flexible learning and multimedia capabilities.
