The Institutional Planning Office (IPO) joined the Regional Development Council (RDC) VIII regional forum on the budget calendar for fiscal year (FY) 2023 January 22, 2022, via video conferencing.

Represented by its Director, Joedel Peñaranda and Planning Assistant Engr. Jessie Cerera, the forum was mainly grounded on the National Budget Memorandum (NBM) 142 – National Budget Call for FY 2023 issued on 12 January 2022. Under its mandate, as stipulated in Executive Order 325 and as provided for in the NBM 142, the Regional Development Council (RDC) VIII shall review the FY 2023 budget proposals of the regional agency offices and state universities and colleges to ensure that the strategic needs and priorities of the region are considered in the proposed budgets given the continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Mandanas Ruling.
