Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) concluded its annual intramurals, themed "Where champions are made and memories are created," on February 28 at the university gymnasium. The event culminated with championship games and an awarding ceremony.
The School of Technology and Computer Studies (STCS) Dragons claimed the championship title in the men's basketball tournament. Following closely behind were the School of Criminal Justice and Education (SCJE) Snipers in second place and the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) Scorpions in third.
In the volleyball competitions, the School of Teacher Education (STEd) secured their eighth championship title in men's volleyball. SAS Scorpions took silver, while STCS Dragons earned bronze. Meanwhile, the School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME) defended their championship title in women's volleyball, with the BiPSU Biliran Campus Buffalos finishing second and the SCJE Snipers in third.
Individual standout performances were also recognized, with Clark Kent R. Gaspay from STCS Dragons named MVP in men's basketball, Gerardo Alavera from STEd Raptors in men's volleyball, and Daryn Dave Santianez from SME Eagles in women's volleyball.
Moreover, during the awarding ceremony, qualifiers for this year's Eastern Visayas State Colleges Athletic Association (EVCAA) and State Colleges University Athletic Association (SCUAA) competitions were announced. These selected student-athletes will have the opportunity to represent BiPSU in the upcoming regional contests.
