BIPSU Institutional Planning Office attends “The Reorientation and Training on EV-PMS for Implementing Agencies and State Universities and Colleges” at the NEDA Regional Office VIII, Palo Leyte on January 24, 2023.

Representatives from BIPSU IPO headed by Engineer Jessie Cerera, Ar. Emman Bernil and Ar. Grace Punzalan attended a reorientation/training on EV-PMS (Eastern Visayas Project Monitoring System).

The training aimed to familiarize the participants with the enhanced Government integrated Project Management System EV-PMS, a web-based system designed to systematize
the monitoring processes and improve transparency in government transactions.

During the event, officials from NEDA headed by Ms. Karen M. Reduban Senior Economic Development Specialist NEDA VIII-PMED discussed the system's features and functionality, including the convenience of project monitoring and the submission of project status. They also noted the importance of the system in promoting good governance and efficient use of public funds. They answered questions from the attendees, including representatives from various SUCs and Implementing agencies in the region.

The NEDA Regional Office VIII plans to conduct similar reorientation and training sessions in the future to ensure that all implementing agencies and SUCs in the region are fully equipped to use the EV-PMS effectively.

The BiPSU IPO team expresses their appreciation for the opportunity to learn more about the EV-PMS system and looks forward to participating in future training sessions and utilizing the EV-PMS to streamline their project monitoring process.
