Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) hosted a solo art exhibition of a Biliranon artist, themed βher womb/ therefore, i amβ yesterday, at the BiPSU gymnasium.
Inspired by his late mother, contemporary international artist, and philanthropist, Mr. Roel G. Cabulang, a native of Cabucgayan, Biliran showcased his artworks which according to him also reflect the life lessons he learned from her.
Mr. Cabulang expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the university and to Dr. Victor C. Canezo, Jr., University President for hosting his major solo exhibit.
"BiPSU is the only university in the entire Philippines holding a major solo art exhibition," Mr. Cabulang said during his inspirational talk.

Β On the other hand, Dr. CaΓ±ezo, Jr. also extended his gratitude and commendation to Mr. Cabulang for displaying his artworks at the university and for alloting a portion of the exhibitβs proceeds to the identified BiPSU students who are members of the Mamanwa indigenous tribe.
