Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) once again triumphed in the weaving of worthiness amidst the challenges of the new normal as the School of Engineering (SOE) achieved a 100% passing rate for both mechanical and electrical engineering examinations.
Surpassing the national passing percentage of 54.15%, 9 graduates of BiPSU successfully aced the 2022 Mechanical Engineering licensure examination last August 13-14.
Moreover, 14 alumni of BiPSU passed the recent Electrical Engineering licensure examination held last September 3-4. Two of them are first takers, while the rest are retakers.
Engr. Vivencio A. Pelesco, dean of SOE, expressed his gratitude that all the nine examinees of Mechanical Engineering and 14 examinees of Electrical Engineering have passed the Licensure Examination.
“I said to myself that this is one of the best gifts the School of Engineering could give to BiPSU as we celebrate the Golden Anniversary of our beloved university,” Dean Pelesco said.
The new Mechanical Engineers (ME) are Aldren B. Delante, Rolando D. Armstrong, Shawnkemp M. Nierra, Paul B. Gavilo, Art C. Baquero, Daryl Modesto, John Rouies Colita, James M. Ortega, and Vincent Dave S. Borrinaga.
Meanwhile, the newly Registered Master Electrician (RME) are Chrisfer Jeff P. Amador, Cristy Mariz O. Argon, Nilo D. Cerelles, Ace Roldan, Jian Carlo Bermos ,Albert Canete Jr. and, Kyle B. Tabuldan, while BiPSU newly Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) are Kirk Daniel B. Obregon, Jeffrey M. Omas-as, Edvin D. Placibo, Chrisfer Jeff P. Amador, Cristy Mariz O. Argon, and Rikki Jade A. Bejarasco
Engr. Pelesco also expressed his gratitude to University President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo for his “constant guidance and support accorded to the School of Engineering in the weaving of worthiness”.
“We hope and pray that the SOE would be able to sustain its exemplary performance in licensure examinations, through the concerted effort and dedication of the faculty members to mentor our students and the constant support of the BiPSU administration,” Engr. Telesco concluded.
