Biliran Province State University has once again demonstrated that its quest for quality assurance is an unending one. Taking a high leap towards quality education, BiPSU submitted seven of its programs for the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Accreditation from April 27-29.

Seven programs submitted for Level III Phase 2 include Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Bachelor of Arts in Economics (BAEcon), Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim), Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BACom), Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM), Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM), and Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEEd).

During the in-person opening of the 3-day Accreditation Survey, BiPSU University President Dr. Victor C. Canezo, Jr. expressed his confidence that BiPSU can once again brave the accreditation.

“I am confident that with the activities that we successfully conducted and the milestones that we have achieved, we will once again emerge victorious in this undertaking,” the University President said.

Meanwhile, Prof. Nancy M. Santiago of Bulacan State University (BULSU) and Dr. Enrico R. Rivano of the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) sit as the coordinators of the said accrediting activity.

This month’s accreditation also gathered some of the countries highly-esteemed accreditors from other HEIs across the country including Prof. Adrian Aguilar and Prof. Mary Joy A. Castillo for the ABComm; Dr. Bernardo A. Zabala, Jr. and Dr. Joey M. Villanueva for the BEEd; Dr. Mark Ryan Y. Contaoi and Dr. Loida O. Crespo for the BSN; Prof. Ria T. Monsale and Prof. Joanna Marie T. Guarin for the BSHM; Dr. Jeanneth F. Darroca and Prof. Arlene L. Remegio for the BSTM; Prof. Jenny Beb F. Ebo and Dr. Rodolfo C. Moreno for the BAEcon; and Dr. Arthur B. Gubia-on and Dr. Rodolfo B. Burac for the BSCrim.
