Biliran Province State University, through its Center for Learning Resources (CLR), took part in B.A.S.A. 2026 (Building, Advancing, Sharing, and Amplifying Library Innovations) held on September 16–17 at the Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) Sogod Campus.

Leading the BiPSU delegation was Dr. Concepcion M. Gayrama, director of Library Services, together with librarians Ms. Azenith D. Beronio, Ms. Marites M. Saclolo, and Ms. Chrystyn M. Panit. They joined representatives from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) under the oversight of CHED Commissioner Dr. Michelle A. Ong for the exchange of experiences, practices, and initiatives in academic library services.

The two-day activity provided participating institutions with an opportunity to learn from one another and gain insights that may be applied to their respective library operations. For BiPSU, the benchmarking activity contributed to the continuing enhancement of its library services, resources, and learning spaces.
