Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) recently conducted its annual administrative and tactical inspection in collaboration with the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) team on May 8. Led by the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Office, the inspection focused on assessing the tactical proficiency of Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) students. This evaluation, conducted in accordance with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) program "Army 2040: World-Class. Multi-Mission Ready. Cross Domain Capable," aimed to enhance students' capabilities and readiness.
ROTC students gathered at the university oval to demonstrate their tactical skills before the inspection team.
The RAATI team, chaired by Lt. Col. Benjy Roberto G. Ferrera, and Major Alton V. Durano, Commandant and former member of BiPSU Governing Board, oversaw the inspection.
In attendance from BiPSU were President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr., along with members of the BiPSU Governing Board, Hon. Vennie G. Coton and Hon. Lorenzo dela Cruz, Vice Presidents, Mr. Benedicto G. Batistis, NSTP Director, and other officials.
Discussions with the RAATI team at the Office of the President (OP) Convergence Room centered on evaluating progress and devising strategies to further enrich the training of future reservists at the university.
