Faculty members from the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) program under the School of Teacher Education (STEd) brought honor to Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) after securing top accolades at the 7th POTTE National Convention and 4th POTTE Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Guro.
Held at the Surigao del Norte State University – Main Campus, the event was organized by the Philippine Organization for TLE and TVL Educators, Inc. (POTTE) to recognize exemplary educators who have made significant contributions to the field.
Leading the awardees were Mr. Reymark S. Pabilando and Ms. Merlyna Sacare, who were both conferred the prestigious Most Outstanding Educator in TLE and TVL Education award. Joining them was Ms. Delsa Ariaso, who was recognized as an Outstanding Educator in TLE and TVL Education.
University President Prof. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr., EdD, CHRP lauded the faculty members for raising the university’s banner on the national stage.
“I extend my warmest congratulations to our awardees. This achievement is a vivid illustration of the ‘weaving of worthiness’ that defines our academic culture. You have not only brought pride to the university but have also affirmed our standing as a model institution for Technology and Livelihood Education,” Dr. Cañezo stated.
The POTTE Gawad Parangal is a national search that acknowledges the dedication, innovation, and impact of TLE and TVL practitioners across the Philippines.
