Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), through the Admission and Retention Office (ARO), Student Development Services Office (SDSO), Guidance and Counseling Services Office (GCSO), and University Media and Information Office (UMIO), kicked off its information caravan on college admission applications in Biliran Province and its neighboring places last March 15, 2023. It is scheduled until March 31, 2023, every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of the week.

It has been observed in previous admissions that some students lack the necessary information on the different programs offered by the University, including its admission policies and processes, which delays the enrolment timeline. Therefore, in an interview with Ms. Normae C. Ecija, the ARO Head, she emphasized that the goal of this year’s information caravan is to ensure that the scheduled enrolment timeline will be attained.

“As per observation from the previous admissions, there are students who enrolled late, which causes the delay of the supposed period of admission and entrance examination. Hence, delaying the process of the enrollment period,” Ms. Ecija said.

Moreover, she also stressed that the other purpose of the information caravan is to reach students without access to technology online.

“Para ma reach pod ang kadtong mga students nga walay access online,” she added. [In order also to reach students who don't have internet and online access.]

As announced last week, the online application period for undergraduate/college admission for Academic Year (AY) 2023-2024 started on March 8, 2023, and will end on April 8, 2023.
