CHED Grants Certificate of Compliance for BiPSU's BSBA Financial Management and BSCrim Programs

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recently granted Certificate of Compliance (COPC) for Biliran Province State University's (BiPSU) Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management (BSBA-FM) and Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) programs.

The issuance of COPCs indicates that both programs satisfy the specified standards for quality education set by CHED. Pursuant to Republic Act 10931, also recognized as the "Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education" Act, all State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) are mandated to obtain COPCs within two years to uphold program quality.

Moreover, COPC attests to the programs' strong curriculum, competent faculty, sufficient facilities, and dedication to achieving student learning outcomes.

The COPCs were presented by CHED Regional Office VIII Director Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe in Tacloban City. The BSCrim program's COPC was accepted by School of Criminal Justice Education (SCJE) Dean Dr. Archie T. Ramirez and faculty members, while the COPC for the BSBA-FM program was received by BSBA Chairperson Dr. Vicente Q. Solteo.
