Key officials from the Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office VIII (DPWH RO8), along with the District Engineer of the DPWH Biliran District Engineering Office, held a consultative meeting with Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) President, Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, and officials from the BiPSU Engineering and Development Office (EPDO) on April 2.

The meeting focused on the progression of three projects scheduled for Cycle Year 2024, crucial for BiPSU's infrastructure development. Discussions aimed to address challenges and streamline the construction process.

Various aspects of the projects were deliberated, including timelines, budget allocation, and logistical requirements, emphasizing maintaining construction quality and adhering to schedules.

Representing the DPWH RO8 were Engr. Ma. Rosario Margallo, Engineer III, Engr. Marvin L. Zeta, Engineer II, and Archt. Bobson A. Borromeo, Architect II. Joining them from the DPWH Provincial Office were Engr. Irwin L. Antonio, OIC District Engineer, and Archt. Ralph Martin Cabalona, Architect II. BiPSU attendees included Dr. Cañezo, Engr. Roderick A. Delda, Archt. Emman Ruel Bernil, Engr. Jake Cleo S. Corto, Engr. Bienvenido Balan, and Engr. Arcabado Jobel.

Following the meeting, DPWH officials conducted a site visit to inspect designated construction areas. Dr. Cañezo and other officials accompanied them, assessing logistical considerations for optimal project planning and execution.
