In line with the university's development plan, this initiative aimed to attract graduates and job seekers from Biliran in pursuit of career opportunities.

The said activity was attended by local entities, including Prince Hypermart, Prince Superstore, Ebenezer The Lord Help Us Learning Center Corp., Philippine National Bank (PNB), QQ English Teacher, Citi Hardware, Polycentric Lending Corp., ASA Philippine Foundation Inc., Jusa's Tropical Fresh Smoothies, Rodson Drygoods Trading, and Alberto’s Pizza Naval.

During his welcome address, BiPSU President Dr. Victor C. Canezo Jr. underscored the role of Job Fair 2023 in the institution's #WoWBiPSU Weaving of Worthiness Development Program. The program emphasizes enhancing the employability of graduates and the community's citizens, thus reinforcing BiPSU's commitment to global workforce competitiveness.

“This [Job Fair] underscores BiPSU’s resilience and dedication in ensuring our students and alumni are also competitive in the global workforce,” Dr. Canezo said.

Dr. Cañezo also shared in his speech that BiPSU’s employability rate has reached 54.3 percent between 2019 and 2022, a testament to the institution’s dedication to its development programs.
