Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) joins the celebration of “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day” on September 25, which underscores Filipino family qualities and traditions.

As per Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 32 from the Office of the President and in accordance with Proclamation No. 60 series of 1992, the last week of September is designated as Family Week. Additionally, the MC specifies the suspension of work starting from 3:00 PM on this day.

“Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day” aligns with Presidential Proclamation No. 326 series of 2012, aiming to encourage parents to regularly share meals with their children to foster harmonious relationships within the family.

In accordance with this, BiPSU's Office of the President issued Memorandum Order No. 110, series of 2023, urging all students, faculty, and non-teaching staff of the university to utilize this period to strengthen family bonds and partake in activities that emphasize the essential role of Filipino families in our society.
