Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), led by University President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr., has carried out its annual Handog Pamasko across various locations in the province, emphasizing the institution's commitment to community service during the festive season.
This community-driven initiative, aimed at giving back to the local community, goes beyond traditional gift-giving, showcasing the potential of educational institutions to strengthen community bonds through shared objectives.
The initiative started with the School of Teacher Education (STEd) sharing blessings at San Pablo Elementary School and Naval Night High School. Subsequently, the School of Criminal Justice Education (SCJE) spread holiday cheer at Sitio Cansiso, Brgy. Cabibihan, Caibiran, while the School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS) brought smiles to Brgy. Bato, Biliran.
Continuing the spirit of generosity, the School of Engineering (SOE) contributed a gesture of kindness at Villa Consuelo ES, and the School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME) selected Anislagan ES as its beneficiary. The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) extended blessings to Talustusan, Naval, and the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) brought joy to Eden ES. Additionally, the School of Technology and Computer Studies (STCS) brought joy to Palayan, Almeria.
The BiPSU administration also played its part by sharing warm wishes at Masagongsong ES, reinforcing the university's dedication to community service and underscoring the genuine purpose of holiday celebrations.
It's worth noting that the annual Handog Pamasko stands as one of the university's community extension projects, contributing to its goal of fostering human empowerment and societal development.
