Campus journalists from The Pillar Publication, the official student publication of Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), are currently participating in the Regional Tertiary Schools Press Conference (RTSPC) 2024 at Visayas State University (VSU), Baybay City, Leyte, from April 3 to 6.

Themed "The Student Press in an A.I. World," the event gathers delegates from diverse private and publicly funded higher education institutions (HEIs) across the region. Alongside competitions, the four-day event features plenary sessions with experts and journalists sharing insights and experiences.

Competitions include individual (news, opinion, investigative, feature writing, photojournalism), group (print, online, video, radio), and special overall awards, with points accrued from both individual and group categories.

According to the CampusJourn Facebook page, the conference has 342 total participants from 30 registered schools.
