In line with the observance of National Women’s Month, Biliran Province State University's (BiPSU) Gender and Development (GAD) Office, in collaboration with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), organized a two-day Workforce Onboarding and Gender Sensitivity Training. The event occurred on March 13 and March 20 at the BiPSU Hyflex Audio Visual Center (HAVC).

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) was officially acknowledged as a recipient of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Level II recognition by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through DTI Regional Office 8 Director Engr. Celerina T. Bato, CESO III. The conferment ceremony took place at the university gymnasium on March 15.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recently granted Certificate of Compliance (COPC) for Biliran Province State University's (BiPSU) Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management (BSBA-FM) and Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) programs.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) deviated from the tradition during its recent State of the University Address (SUA), held at the BiPSU Gymnasium on February 13. Instead of BiPSU President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr. delivering the address, sectoral representatives took the stage to provide insights on the university's achievements, challenges, and plans.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) recently conducted a three-day workshop titled "3-Day Futures Research Workshop: University Futures Research Agenda and Roadmap" at the Hostel Function Hall A from February 5 to 7. The event, organized by the Strategic Innovation and Knowledge Laboratory (SIKLAB) Center in collaboration with the Institutional Planning Office (IPO) and the Research and Development Office (RDO), aimed to enhance the university's capabilities in futures-thinking and strategic foresight.
