Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) recently formalized its commitment to community development through a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signed with the Local Government Unit of Naval (LGU Naval) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG). The collaboration, facilitated through the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) and School of Graduate Studies (SGS), was inked on November 20 at the President’s Office Convergence Room.

Biliran Province State University's (BiPSU) Department of Economics took center stage on November 13 to commemorate Economic Financial Literacy Month 2023. Organized by the School of Arts and Sciences - Supreme Student Council (SAS-SSC) in collaboration with the Students of Economics Circle (SEC), the event, themed "Bayanihanomics: Sama-samang Pakikilahok para sa Matibay na Ekonomiya," featured a day-long series of activities at the university gymnasium.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr., and Vice President for Student and External Affairs (VP SEA) Dr. Erwin G. Salvatierra, joined the Philippine delegation for the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Higher Education Summit: Asia Pacific 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, held from November 7 to 9 under the theme "Creating the Right Outcomes: Universities and the Future of Work in the Asia Pacific."

Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr., CHRP, President of Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), has been elected as the new President of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) for Region 8. This marks the first time in history that a BiPSU President has been chosen to lead PASUC.

The An Lantugi Debate Society at Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) has made a return after a prolonged hiatus, marked by the kickoff of the 1st President Victor C. Cañezo Jr. Debate Cup. The event commenced with a debate and adjudication orientation, along with a mock debate at the University Hostel on November 15.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) witnessed outstanding achievements from its official secondary and tertiary student publications, The Molder Publication and The Pillar Publication, at the recently concluded 14th National Campus Media Conference in Zamboanga City. The event, organized by the Schools Press Advisers’ Movement, Incorporated (SPAM, Inc.) from November 8 to 10, focused on the theme, "Promoting Evidence-Based Journalism in the Reel World of AI and Social Media Influencers."

After the conclusion of the 37th Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA8) Meet, the Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) Tigers swimming team secured a second-place ranking among competing state universities and colleges (SUCs) in the swimming event at the Visayas State University (VSU) Main Campus, Baybay, Leyte, on October 25.

In the pursuit of delivering quality education and the ongoing effort to enhance its academic offerings, Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) submitted three (3) of its graduate programs for the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) online accreditation from October 18 to 20.

Biliran Province State University-School of Teacher Education (BiPSU-STEd), in collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd) Leyte and Biliran Division, hosted its 2nd Pinning Ceremony for pre-service teachers on October 24th at the University Gymnasium. This event symbolized the transition of aspiring educators from students to pre-service teachers.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), through the Research and Development Office, conducted the 6th edition of the ResearchLympics on October 17 at the BiPSU Gymnasium. The said event, which revolved around the theme "Advancing Scientific Inquiry and Collaboration through Research Poster Competition," underscored the commitment of BiPSU to the pursuit of research and innovation excellence for human empowerment and societal development.
