Two recognition for BiPSU in a row!

After being rated as a 3-star university by the QS Stars Rating System last Monday, BiPSU has been recognized by the Provincial Government of Biliran as one of the Most Outstanding National Government Agencies during the Governor Rogelio J. Espina Galing Mo Awards held at the BiPSU Gymnasium last night, June 29.

Seven(7) Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the Municipality of Naval entered into Budget Partnership Agreement (BPA) with the Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) during the Sectoral and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) Meeting and Budget Partnership Agreement held at the Office of the University President Convergence, BiPSU, Naval, Biliran on March 11, 2022.

Representatives from the ten (10) state universities and colleges (SUCs) in region 8, comprised of Presidents, Vice Presidents for Planning & Development, and Futures-Thinking (FT) focal persons attended today’s opening program for the Regional Futures Consortium Workshop: High-Level Anticipatory Leadership and Governance Executive Course held via video conferencing. 

In a groundbreaking collaboration with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) hosted a Competency Assessment for Computer System Servicing NC2 on April 13, 2022. The event showcased the university's commitment to nurturing skilled IT professionals by providing not only expert faculty assessors but also state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

Key university officials met to discuss and review the institution’s annual performance for the fiscal year 2021 and set the physical targets for 2023 on March 10, 2022, held at the Convergence Room, Automotive Building, BiPSU, Naval, Biliran.

To onboard the Presidents of state universities and colleges (SUCs) in Eastern Visayas on Futures-Thinking and scope the future projects of the Pangandoy sa Hiraya: The Futures-Thinking Consortium of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) Eastern Visayas, the Philippine Futures-Thinking Society (PhilFutures) conducted an orientation via video conferencing last 21 January via video conferencing.

After his surprise visit and monitoring to Biliran Province State University last February 18, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Director, Dr. Maximo Aljibe, PhD., DPM, CESO III, expressed his commendation to university relative to the implementation of the limited face-to-face classes.
